Why Selling Didn’t Make Sense — and the Plan That Paid Off Instead

Why Selling Didn’t Make Sense — and the Plan That Paid Off Instead

The market wasn’t particularly favorable for selling condos, but the one they had bought two years earlier had started to feel too small for their family of three.

We carefully reviewed the market conditions, their needs, and their goals, and together decided that moving to a larger home while keeping their condo as an investment property would be the most rewarding option at this stage.

In real estate, there’s never a one-size-fits-all solution — the right choice always depends on each person’s lifestyle and circumstances. My client was comfortable managing rental properties as long as their own home felt spacious and comfortable.

Eventually, we found the perfect house: three bedrooms with a large kitchen and living area on the upper floor, and a fully independent suite downstairs that would easily provide another steady rental income.

After securing a reliable tenant for their former condo, I could finally rest easy knowing that we had made the right decision — one that brought them more space, more comfort, and a smarter financial future.
